Develop and execute fundraising programs to support Post 1111's objectives.

COMMITTEE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES

  • 6 meetings per year (minimum) it is recommended to hold these meetings via zoom.

  • Set meeting date (ex: 3rd Monday of the month)

  • Meeting should be held prior to the Legion meeting

  • Chair will run the meetings - if chair is unable to be there then either the co-chair or committee member will run the meeting.

  • Meeting minutes will need to be provided in order to give the membership a committee report

  • Paperwork for events needs to be completed. Event proposal form, Audit forms, sign in sheet (for volunteer hours). Forms can be found on the Post Docs & Forms page.

  • Ideas - MUST go to a committee FIRST

    • Bring an idea and chair it. Ask for help from those you look up to if you are nervous about chairing something alone.

    • If the committee is assigned a project and there is no volunteer to chair the project then the committee should bring it to the membership for a chair

    • If there is no chair for a project then the project will not happen.
